The Beton - technologie, konstrukce, sanace (Concrete - technology, structures, reconstruction) magazine continues in the longtime tradition of expert periodicals Beton a Zdivo (Concrete and Masonry) and Sanace betonových konstrukcí (Reconstruction of concrete structures) with the aim to publish up-to-date information on new technologies and trends, materials and products connected with the traditional building materials - lime, cement and concrete. At the same time, the magazine deals with development and issues linked to concrete constructions in wider professional context, among others those related to European standards and connecting the Czech Republic to building customs and and experience of the EU countries.
In the individual issues, focused on one topic, we offer to the readers the newest findings in both world and inland construction trends, profiles of significant subjects of the Czech construction industry, familiar information on the assortment of new products, reconstructions of objects of both precast and cast-in-place concrete, expert consulting, and news from the world of concrete events.
The magazine also regularly shows the most interesting projects and realizations of both domestic and foreign buildings, which have attracted experts with their non-traditional structural or architectural solutions.
For many years, the magazine has been a useful aid to experts and informed public in the current concrete building industry and contributes to development of this significant part of the Czech economy.
Selected contributions are assessed by experts and since 2008, the magazine has been on the list of non-impacted reviewed journals.
